Baishakhi Bhattacharya is a seasoned educator, soft skills expert, and passionate social entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in empowering youth, women, and marginalized communities through skills training and placement support. With a strong foundation in programs like MAST and SAVE, and leadership roles such as Area Head for the Grow PwD initiative and Assistant Manager – Corporate Relations & Placement, she has made a lasting impact in the field of inclusive development.
Baishakhi holds three postgraduate degrees, including an MBA in Human Resource Management, bringing both academic depth and real-world experience to her work.
Driven by a commitment to equity and inclusion, she left her corporate role to launch Pratyay Livelihood and Wellness Foundation, a nonprofit focused on building sustainable livelihood opportunities and holistic empowerment for the underserved — especially persons with disabilities, tribal communities, senior citizen ,women and youth.
Her mission is clear: to create a society where no one is left behind.

Shri Alekhya Bhattacharya is a publishing professional, academic, and author with a lifelong commitment to books, language, and the dissemination of knowledge. Born in Shillong, he graduated from Gauhati University and began his professional career in the Assam Government service. Guided by a deep passion for publishing from an early age, he later pursued postgraduate studies at the University of Calcutta, marking a decisive transition into the world of books and publishing.
For over two decades, Shri Bhattacharya has been actively engaged in editing and translating books, developing dictionaries, and contributing to academic and literary journals across diverse disciplines. He has been associated with the University of Calcutta as a faculty member at the Centre for Studies in Book Publishing and has also served as a Visiting Faculty at Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira, Belur Math.
An accomplished author, he has written several children’s books for the National Book Trust (NBT) and has translated numerous works published by the National Book Trust, India. His body of work reflects a sustained commitment to inclusive knowledge sharing, education, and cultural preservation.
As Co-Director of Pratyay Livelihood and Wellness Foundation, Shri Alekhya Bhattacharya brings his extensive experience in publishing, education, and language to advance the organisation’s vision of empowering communities through learning, awareness, and dignity.
